French national champs

For the first time of French orienteering history, this week end will be held the national championships by night!
The race will take place in the North-East of France, around Mulhouse.
You can see the Web site of the event here
The night race will be on saturday night.

On sunday morning, also for the first time, will be the "national team criterium", it's look the same as Jukola (7 men per team and 4 women), but there will be much less teams than in Finland(21 women teams, 21 junior teams and 39 men teams ; so about 800 runners...) and it will be all by day...
We are waiting for strong teams in men and women. Indeed, the NOSE, will be favorite in men class, with the coming of Thierry Gueorgiou and his brother Rémi, François Gonon, Thibaut magne...(4 of the 9 men qualified for the WC final).
In women class, the big favorite is the club HVO, which Céline Dodin and Mélanie D'Harreville are running for. The young sister of Mélanie (Karine) will also take part in this team, where she will again prove her big skills...
